Ancillary effects of Ventipulmin® of the equine airways of horses suffering RAO (COPD)

The purpose of the approach is to show the effects of clenbuterol in endotoxin challenged RAO affected horses on the classical lung function, cytology of BAL, endoscopic evaluation of the tracheobronchial tract and the profiles of the following mediators and anti-inflammatory molecules in the BAL: IL-1, IL-4, IFN-g, and TNFa and if feasible IL-8 and IL-10.
