Comparative evaluation of different methods to assess bone mineral density in dogs

Abstract
Mineralisation of long bones is investigated by radiography, DEXA, CT, gravimetric determination and AAS. It should evaluate the precision of the several methods and serves to describe differences in mineralization of different areas of bone. By these methods areal differences in mineralization and also age effects will be tested.
