Up to 20 percent of the dogs suffer from osteoarthritis. The clinical symptoms vary from restricted range of motion and Muscle atrophy pain, crepitation during manipulation of the joint LIP to stiffness, lameness and restricted abilities during the daily life. In humans, the reduction of overweight, controlled exercises and Physiotherapy are well accepted methods in the treatment of osteoarthritis. In the presented paper, some of the methods which are used in the veterinary Physiotherapy are presented.
